Today is a good day for democracy in Italy...

Today is a good day for democracy in Italy because the Italian Parliament managed to break the deadlock and elected two excellent Presidents. Laura Boldrini was elected President of the Camera dei Deputati . Grand child of Arrigo Boldrini, legendary cammander of the anto fascist resistance, Laura run the UNHCR office for years with great compassion and competence and succeeds to Mr Fini a reformed fascist whose name is on the most shameful anti immigration law. Piero Grasso was elected President of the Senat. He is a former National anti mafia prosecutor and succeds to Renato Schifani, a Sicilian lawyer who was under trial for complicity with mafia bosses. Italy is in progress Best of luck to Laura Boldrini and Piero Grasso. (Angelo Consoli)
